heaven so close

last friday, i was driving past captain cook oval (another park near our area) when i happened to look up, and saw all these clouds hanging so low. i felt as though i could almost reach them, and i felt nostalgic again. as a kid, i used to make figures out of cloud formations and used to let my imagination get the best of me. so, i just had to stop and snap some shots, or risk having the moment pass me by. after all, it's not often that you get heaven so close like this.

it's just such a shame the pictures didn't turn out as good here as they originally appear on my cam and pc file...sigh!Posted by Picasa

your pictures look so beautiful, what a blessing you stopped and took them. yup, they appear so close and scattered... seem like reaching out. he he he "good" habits are hard to stop. i used to imagine figures out of those clouds too and now, i've got the kids to help me out! i'm sure your pretty girls do the same too!

thanks charm. i'm actually very disappointed because i think they're better than that...but...i have to make do with picasa/blogger. wa koy mahims.way budget for expensive photo-edit software. my little ones are a bit young to fully understand what i do when i watch the clouds, but i hope eventually they will also get into the habit. i always think it's a beautiful way to dress up the imagination.

The Blogger

i love the beach. i talk a lot. i love to write. i don't necessarily make sense though. i take lots of photographs. i'm not good, but i love it. it gives me a sense of joy capturing moments that otherwise would just have slipped by. i sing, much to my family's chagrin. i love scrapbooking, but don't have the time. as a child, i chased after dragonflies, climbed mango trees and even coconut trees, and fell in love with the fireflies in my lola's hometown of bohol. i love cebu. it will always be home. i adore my beautiful kids. i am married to my bestfriend. and i am so blessed with their love.
