in the spirit of christmas

Christmas is definitely in the air. It is the sound of christmas carols I so often hear now. It is the sight of these festive lights at the park, at the neighbor's or at home. It is the excitement and glee of my children when we put up the christmas tree. It is the wonderment in their eyes when Santa handed them some candies at the shop. It is the never-ending questions about the little baby boy in the manger at the church's nativity scene. Why is the baby sleeping with the animals daddy? Are they "looy" (pitiful) mommy? Christmas is indeed for the children...and for the children at heart.

my daughters' favorite magical tree. this was actually leaning against a real tree- photo taken by my hubby (i do not have steady hands and we didn't bring a tripod)

fascinated by all the lights

jops, mao gyud steady kaayo. i took a lot of photos sa lights but blurred jud pareha anang effect sa magic wands sa kids.

actually jops, i feel the same way. di na pareha sa bata pa ta na magical gyud ang christmas. karon, it's so commercialized. but then i see the wonderment sa ako kids and then i believe in its magic again.

The Blogger

i love the beach. i talk a lot. i love to write. i don't necessarily make sense though. i take lots of photographs. i'm not good, but i love it. it gives me a sense of joy capturing moments that otherwise would just have slipped by. i sing, much to my family's chagrin. i love scrapbooking, but don't have the time. as a child, i chased after dragonflies, climbed mango trees and even coconut trees, and fell in love with the fireflies in my lola's hometown of bohol. i love cebu. it will always be home. i adore my beautiful kids. i am married to my bestfriend. and i am so blessed with their love.
