girls on a bench

still at the japanese garden, my girls found this bench, and decided to take a little rest...after all, feeding the ducks was such a big task...
now, resting is a must!
shoot away while they're not looking...nothing like a candid shot!

and because i want to try the drama of "black and white"

Is that you on the beach? Very nice! These are great photos too! Don't tell me they're still auto-settings, hehe! Your girls are super cute!!!

yes liz, that's me taken in nov. of 2007. couldn't find the perfect beach house pic, and i was hoping to use the one with my kids, but i forgot i removed it from my pc na. anyway, that's the only one that fitted because i could crop it. the other photos i tried were too big. the quality isn't very good with that one because that was taken using just a point-and-shoot cam.

anyway, i am embarrassed to admit, but i still use the auto camera settings...i turn the dial to either portrait, close up, night mode...and so on...i still have to learn how to adjust the ISO and the other "complicated photography stuff"... hehehe...i'll get there.

don't be embarrassed uy! it really takes a while to get used to those manual settings! there's a good reason why nikon or canon put those auto-settings in there and that is so we can conveniently take good pictures without doing so much research! you're doing very well so far!

liz, i am glad there are people like you who give me hope that some day, i will eventually learn how to use the manual settings. i am very hopeful. i'll get there. thanks for the encouragement and inspiration.

thanks jops. you inspire me too. come to think of it, you got me started on this photoblogging. so i have you to thank for that.

The Blogger

i love the beach. i talk a lot. i love to write. i don't necessarily make sense though. i take lots of photographs. i'm not good, but i love it. it gives me a sense of joy capturing moments that otherwise would just have slipped by. i sing, much to my family's chagrin. i love scrapbooking, but don't have the time. as a child, i chased after dragonflies, climbed mango trees and even coconut trees, and fell in love with the fireflies in my lola's hometown of bohol. i love cebu. it will always be home. i adore my beautiful kids. i am married to my bestfriend. and i am so blessed with their love.
